Oscar Silva joined EXFO in 2006 and is currently Sales Manager for the Mexico, Central America and Caribbean region.
With more than 20 years of experience in Test and Measurement, he has worked closely in the Optical Technology and High-Speed Networking industry, holding positions as Applications Engineer and Key Account Manager for the Mexican market.
Over the years he has worked closely with NEM's and service providers, helping them to optimize their networks in the implementation and acceptance processes, both in the optical and data transmission side, always driving best practices in the construction and installation of networks, as his main focus is to cultivate the basics of how to test an optical network in the right way to ensure high quality networks.
He holds a degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica.
