ISO 17025
EXFO is a proud supporter of ISO/IEC 17025 (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories). The ISO 17025 standard outlines the general requirements for testing and calibration laboratories. EXFO uses this standard to improve our ability to consistently produce valid results.
Calibration at EXFO are performed using standards traceable to national metrology institutes such as:
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), United States
- National Physical Laboratory (NPL), United Kingdom
- National Research Council Canada (NRC), Canada
- National Metrology Institute (METAS), Switzerland
