Description

Make room for Fiber Guardian in your software

Fiber Guardian (FG-750) is a rack-mounted, remote OTDR that performs fault detection and analysis. It offers local storage and provides critical information for optical fiber trend reports. This multiport unit will first record a reference condition on each connected fiber, then execute further tests with OTDR technology to detect and pinpoint any deviation from the reference. Integrate Fiber Guardian into your software via the unit’s available and open REST API platform (Client API) and take advantage of its many features.

Discover Cable Template

FG-750 Client API creates a single-fiber or multi-fiber test set-up called Cable Template that allows you to test multiple fibers in one cable or the attenuation trends of a single fiber, offering you consistent trend tracking, smart reporting and critical insight.

Goodbye element monitoring system. Hello integrated NMS.

Integrate FG-750 Client API into your system and eliminate the need for a fiber element monitoring system (EMS). Bundle remote equipment control/management into a smaller number of software instances. Reduce capital expenditures and maintenance fees with an open API solution for your GIS, NMS, OSS or SDN controller.

Keep your data safe

We know that keeping your data private and secure is a top priority, and FG-750 Client API has you covered. It can be integrated into your development software to test optical routes via web API calls and uses encrypted communication (https) to guarantee complete network security.
